Capital Management invests in Anystream’s $10 Million Series
B Funding Round

STERLING, VA - Anthem Capital Management, a venture capital firm
that invests in high-growth technology companies in the Mid-Atlantic
region, today announced the closing of a $10 million Series B investment
in Anystream, a leading supplier of digital media production and
distribution software to the media/entertainment and education industries.
Anthem joins existing investors SOFTBANK Capital Technology Fund
III and SCP Private Equity Partners who also participated in the
round.
Anystream will use the funds to rapidly grow adoption and usage
of its Agility® media products and Apreso™ education software
product lines. Both product lines enable broadband applications
– such as premium online content, video-on-demand, mobile
video, and online learning – by automating the complex processes,
from metadata tagging to compression and distribution, required
to share high-quality video over broadband networks.
“The financing round gives us the resources we need to extend
our business and bring exciting new products to market,” said
Janet Van Pelt, Anystream CEO and president. “These include
our Agility VOD automated video-on-demand content production product
for content providers and cable operators, and Apreso Classroom
automated lecture capture and publishing solution for higher education,”
